Rain or Shine and Barangay Ginebra look to stay alive in the 35th PBA Philippine Cup as they try to tie the quarterfinal series with wins in Game 4 today at the Big Dome.
The Kings battle the defending champions Talk N Text Tropang Texters in the first game, while the Painters wage war against the Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants in the main offering.
After falling 0-2, Ginebra and Rain or Shine managed to stay in contention when the former downed Talk N Text, 102-97, and the latter edged Purefoods, 95-92, during Wednesday's Game 3.
Those wins may have boosted Ginebra and Rain or Shine's confidence but odds still favor the Giants and the Texters, who will try to finally close out their foes to avoid pressure-packed Game 5 duels.
?We now have a semblance of a shot. Hopefully, we can get through again on Friday to force a sudden death,? Ginebra coach Jong Uichico told pba.ph.
JC Intal and Eric Menk came up big for the Kings in Game Three in which they combined for 45 points.
Intal finished with a career-high 25 points on top of 10 rebounds, three assists and one steal while Menk registered 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
