Jazz extends dominance over Spurs; Nuggets stretch streak to four

SAN ANTONIO ? Carlos Boozer had 31 points and 13 rebounds, leading the Utah Jazz to a fourth victory over the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA this season, winning 105-98 on Wednesday.

The Jazz hadn?t won in San Antonio in a decade entering this season, but Utah can now claim two road wins over the Spurs. This one wasn?t easy, but Utah prevailed in a game of wild swings.

Manu Ginobili scored 22 points for the Spurs, who used a 25-0 run in the first half to dig themselves out of their own 12-0 deficit.

The Jazz then clawed their way back, and had the endurance to hang on.

Andrei Kirilenko scored 26 points for Utah.

In Oakland, California, Denver made it four straight wins by sinking Golden State in overtime.

Chauncey Billups matched his career high with 37 points, including 10 in overtime.

Monta Ellis had 39 points and 10 assists for Golden State.

In New Orleans, James Posey scored on a driving layup with 1.1 seconds left to lift New Orleans over Memphis.

Chris Paul scored 10 of his 21 points in the last 4:20 for New Orleans, and also had 13 assists.

Bobcats 104, Heat 65

In Charlotte, North Carolina, Charlotte recorded its most lopsided victory in team history, routing Miami.

Stephen Jackson scored 24 points and Gerald Wallace added 20 points and 10 rebounds as the Bobcats completed a 6-0 homestand.

Miami?s Dwayne Wade scored 16 points, but shot 3 for 12 and committed four fouls in the first half while getting outplayed by Jackson. The Heat shot 29 percent.

The 39-point victory topped Charlotte?s 35-point rout of Toronto in November for the largest margin of victory in franchise history. The Bobcats improved to an NBA-best 9-1 since the start of the new year. They shot a franchise-best 82 percent in the first quarter, and led by 27 at halftime.

In Auburn Hills, Michigan, Rodney Stuckey scored 27 points and had a career-high 11 rebounds to help Detroit to a surprise win over Boston.
