First Posted 07:18:00 01/22/2010

CLEVELAND ? Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Mo Williams has been sidelined indefinitely with a sprained left shoulder, robbing the NBA club of its number two scorer behind superstar LeBron James.

Williams suffered the injury when he reached for a steal in the third quarter of a victory Tuesday over Toronto, leaving him out for Thursday's home showdown against the reigning NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers.

In a Christmas Day victory at Los Angeles, Williams led the Cavaliers over the Lakers with 28 points.

Delonte West will move into the starting rotation for the first time this season with Daniel Gibson set to see more playing time as a result of the injury to Williams, who averages 16.9 points a game.

The Cavaliers are 32-11, the best record in the Eastern Conference.
