The Siso siblings once again showed their deadly form as they bagged titles in the 2009 Thirsty Tennis Cup at the Cebu Country Club Tennis Court.
Sally Mae, Sallydine and Bernardine Siso prevented upsets in their respective age groups as the top-seeds beat their lower-ranked foes for the titles.
Bernardine Siso whipped Jeston Espinosa , 6-0, 6-2, to rule the boys 18-under while SallyDine edged Kristel Mae Buenacosa, 6-4, 6-0, in the girls? side.
Sally Mae, meanwhile, silenced Cheska Tabotabo, 6-2, 6-0 in the girls 16 -under to complete the Siso domination in the two-day tournament.
Crowd-favorite Jana Pages failed to hold on as she bowed to top-seed Clarissa Mae Fuentes in their final match, 6-3,6-1, for the girls 12 under crown.
Another top-ranked player lived up to his lofty billing as Franklin Encarnacion bagged the boys 16-under crown after escaping Dan Eldred Cinco, 7-6, ,6-0.
Francis Parangan won over Mark Norman Enriquez in the 14 boys under, 6-0, 6-2 while Christopher Encarnacion beat Jermaine Laurel, 6-3,6-0 to clinch the boys 12 under title.
Jan Godfrey Seno ruled the Unisex 10 under after he defeated Arthur Craig Pantino in the tournament's highlight match.
Seno Pantino claimed the first set, 6-2, but Seno managed to answer him in the second set with a tie breaker, 7-5. Seno put away Pantino in the third set, 6-4 for the crown.
Each winner will receive trophies and gift checks from Thirsty.
Organizer John Pages, also the president of the Sportswriters Association of Cebu (SAC), was thankful for the success of the tournament.
He said he is looking forward to having a bigger tournament next year.
