A TOTAL of 2,247 runners will answer today?s starting gun in the fourth edition of the Seminary Fund Run which fires off at the Cebu Business Park at 5am.
The official number of participants was announced by technical director Joel Baring minutes after the close of registration yesterday.
Race organizers headed by Cebu Archdiocesan Major Seminary Foundation Inc. (CAMSFI) president Rt. Msgr. Guillermo Gorre, Rev Fr. Aloysius Cartagenas the CAMSFI Priest Director and Race Director Raymund Silo thanked those who enlisted for the fund-raising race which is part of the 75th anniversary celebration of the Archdiocese of Cebu.
The event has three categories, 3k, 5k and 10k Open for men and women with the 5k race open for priests, seminarians and students.
Cash and other prizes will be given to the winners.
