UAAP powerhouse Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws and three-time NCAA champions San Beda Red Lions kick off their bids today when they go up against two hungry wildcard teams.
FEU battles the Arellano University Chiefs while San Beda faces off versus the NAASCU back-to-back champions San Sebastian-Cavite Baycats.
The Red Lions are primed and ready to do battle especially after their week-long series of exhibition games here in Cebu wherein they won all but one game.
The Tamaraws, on the other hand, are itching to get back on the court to redeem themselves for their exit in the Final Four of the UAAP, in spite holding a twice-to-beat advantage over their opponents.

The University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors tackle the NCAA champions San Sebastian College-Recoletos Stags on Nov. 30 at the Superdome in Ormoc City.
