THE M. LHUILLIER Kwarta Padala-Cebu Niños kept their undefeated streak intact after they routed the hosts Zamboanga Uno Latinos, 123-97, in the Zamboanga leg of the 2009 Smart Liga Pilipinas late Wednesday at the Summit Centre inside the Universidad de Zamboanga.
Stephen Padilla sizzled for 29 points, which was punctuated by nine three-point shots, while Ian Saladaga was the spark off the bench as he tallied 23 points.
Jayson Rebollos paced the Latinos with 21 points and six rebounds while Christopher Concepcion added 20 points and six assists.
The Latinos need to finish at least in Third Place in this their final leg assignment in order to make the playoffs in next month?s Super Leg that will determine the next National Champion of the conference.
