Game today:
The Arena
4 p.m. ? San Sebastian vs. San Beda
THE SAN SEBASTIAN College-Recoletos Stags and the reigning three-time champions San Beda Red Lions will be putting it all on the line today as they gun for the top spot in the standings heading into the ?Final Four? in the last game of the elimination round of the 85th NCAA basketball tournament, at the Arena in San Juan City.
The Stags are currently at the top of the league with a 16-1 (win-loss) record and a win today will clinch them the top spot in the semifinal round.
Waiting in the wings for the winner of today's match-up will be the fourth-ranked Letran Knights, who will be playing without star forward Rey Guevarra.
San Sebastian has momentum on their side as they bounced back from their first loss of the season and defeated the Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers, 84-78, last Wednesday, to clinch the first twice-to-beat incentive.
On the other hand, San Beda will be looking for vengeance for their 77-83 loss to San Sebastian in the first round. Should they win, they will force a winner-take-all match for the top spot against the Stags. But should they lose, they will have to battle JRU for the last twice-to-beat bonus. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
