THE ATENEO Blue Eagles will try to complete their repeat run for the championship in the 72nd UAAP basketball tournament today when they face the University of the East (UE) Red Warriors in Game 2 of the best-of-three finals series at the Araneta Coliseum.

Ateneo is just a breath away from a second straight crown in the UAAP basketball wars after it subdued the Red Warriors, 78-71, in Game 1 last Thursday.

UE, on the other hand, will be trying to extend their season and avoid the heartbreak that they experienced two seasons ago, when they went all the way to the finals, only to be swept by the De La Salle University Green Archers. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
