Familiar faces emerged victorious in the 4th leg of the OZ Racing Grand Prix dubbed the 6th Mayor's Cup held at the danao Civic Center in Danao City over the weekend.
Lyndon Requilme led the list of winners as he topped the Expert and Novice Open categories.
His victory allowed him to improve his standings for the Rider of the Year award, which will be given at the end of the year.
Requilme of team MAC now has 16 points good for seventh place.
Gary Caneda of Team CRT still leads the overall race with 56 points, most of which he earned it the first legs of the series.
Arnel Fajardo, who placed second in the expert division, is at fourth with 25 points in the race to the prestigious Rider of the Year race.
Second to requilme in the Novice category was Nino Surban while Fajardo came in at third.
Mark Capoy dominated the Automatic Open category followed by Kenneth Ouano in second place Keken Cabahug ruled the Beginners Superstock 125 category while Moises Monuz came in second and Jeslouie Vega landed at third. Cabahug also won in the Superstock 110 category.
Ricky Banzon won the Danao Local Category while Jonard Romero placed first in the First Time Category.
Participating teams were OZR-Kamigawa, X-Racing, CYRUS, DREI Bikes, Team MAC, Pidot Racing, SkutGarage, Team Norkis Yamaha, AMC, BFC-Cyclone Danao, Bradz Racing, URBC, BMR Race Tech, Cebu Bikers, among others.
