Mary Grace Delos Santos and Nonoy Jopson emerged the fastest runners in the Eco Dash- Ayala Malls Environment Run yesterday at the Cebu Business Park.
Delos Santos logged 41 minutes and 38 seconds to top the 10k women's open while Jopson topped the men?s side.
Madelyn Carter clocked 43 minutes and 56 seconds for the second spot in the women?s followed by Joeyrey Lee at third place with her time of 45 minutes and 38 seconds.
Lorhiz Echavez and Gerly Rose Baylon rounded up the top five in the women?s race.
In the men's 10k category, Elmer Bartolo of Davao came in second followed by Angelito Sibayan at third.
University of Southern Philippines Foundation's (USPF) Joel Delposo ruled the men's 5k category with his time of 17 minutes and five seconds followed by Reprinel Banzon in the second place and Jorry Ycong placed third.
Liezl Getaruelas dominated the women's 5k category as she clocked in 21 minutes and 22 seconds followed by Aiza Suaybaguio in second spot with her time of 22 minutes and six seconds.
In the 3k fun run, Derren Saunders finished first followed by Ben Jamus Rama and Jane Eleazar while Prince Joy Lee ruled the 3k Boys category followed by Joey Lee Jr. and Justin Chiongbian. Queenhe Ygot finished first in the Girl's 3k category while Ariana Aldeguer placed second followed by Mikhaela Capili in third place.
400 runners from around the country participated for this fund-raising program of the Ayala Malls for the benefit of the Kan-Irag Nature Park Foundation.
The Kabangis Runner Club, Sunday's Runner Club, Lexmark Runner Club, Zugbu Runners Club, Team Boyek, Skidrow, Pryce Gas Runners Club, Parklane Runners Club, Atan Guardo Runners Club and the Maitland Smith Runners were the clubs that joined the race.
