MANILA, Philippines ? The 2009 edition of the ?Ugba Heritage Cup National 9-Stag Derby? gets going at the Makati Coliseum on September 24, 26, and 29 with P6.5 million in guaranteed prize awaiting the winners.
Eliminations will be held in different cockpits nationwide, according to Glenn Lim, new president of United Gamecock Breeders Associations (UGBA).
Entry fee is P11,000.
This month, fights will be held at the Tabora Sports Club Baguio (September 27), San Manuel Cockpit Isabela (September 28) and Tayabas Sports Complex (September 30).
For October, competitions are lined up at the Makati Coliseum, Gallera de Mandaue (Cebu), Pulangui Sports Complex (Valencia City), Edward Coliseum (Nueva Ecija), Iloilo Coliseum, Cauayan Cockpit Isabela, Uswag Clarin Coliseum (Ozamis) and Cabadbaran Sports Arena (Mindanao).
