Despite missing two key players, everything seemed just fine for the San Miguel Beermen in the early goings of Game Three of the 34th PBA Fiesta Conference Finals.

The Beermen, however, self-destructed in the endgame, allowing the Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings to escape with a 116-103 come-from-behind win last night at the Araneta Coliseum.

The defending champions Kings pounced on the Beermen's endgame meltdown to bounce back from their 78-95 Game Two loss and regained the upper-hand in the race-to-four title duel, 2-1.

Minus the suspended Danny Ildefonso and Marc Pingris, San Miguel surprisingly dominated Ginebra early, closing the first quarter with a 29-21.

San Miguel stretched the lead to 13 points at the half, 61-48, only to sputter in the final two quarters of play.

The Kings made a bold move in the third and chipped away the deficit to just two points, 76-78, heading into the final 12-minute zone of the contest.

The stunned Beermen were in complete disarray in the fourth where they committed seven turnovers that resulted to easy points for the Kings.

After forging an 82-all tie in the 10:12 mark, the Kings finally zoomed ahead when Cyrus Baguio sank a three-pointer.

Import David Noel hit his own three-pointer and added another basket, giving Ginebra a 90-82 lead.

San Miguel had two turnovers in that telling Ginebra run.

Mike Cortez ended San Miguel's long drought with a trifecta but Ginebra answered with six unanswered points as the Kings coasted to their first double-digit lead of the game, 96-85, with 6:32 left.

Noel came away with a brilliant performance, finishing with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

Gabe Freeman and Jay Washington spearheaded the Beermen with 25 and 22 points.
