Sister teams Barangay Ginebra and San Miguel Beer forged a dream finale in the 34th PBA Fiesta Conference after whipping their semifinal foes in yesterday?s Game 6 at the Araneta Coliseum.

The Gin Kings banked on a torrid shooting from the three-point land to book a return trip to the Finals as they blasted the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, 108-100, to wrap up their best-of-seven-semifinal series, 4-2.

The Beermen, on the other hand, waxed hot in the third period en route to a 118-103 rout of the Burger King Whoppers to finish off their own series at 4-2.

The defending champions Gin Kings torched the Painters with 16 triples that paved the way for their 18th finals appearance. San Miguel, which finished the eliminations at no.1, will be making their 29th trip to the finals.

Both teams met in the 2006-2007 All Filipino Finals with the Kings winning that series.

Import David Noel and Ronald Tubid both waxed hot for the Ginebra as the duo both finished with 23 points each.

The Kings stared at 0-1 and 1-2 early in the series but racked up three straight wins to take out the out the Painters.

?It was a tough series. Caloy Garcia (Rain or Shine coach) did a great job of preparing his boys. We really had a tough time in the series and we gave Rain or Shine credit for it,? said Ginebra coach Jong Uichico.

Paul Artadi and Jay-jay Helterbrand gave Rain or Shine more headache as they chipped in 17 points apiece.

Rain or Shine import Jai Lewis was a big disappointment in a game where the Painters needed him most.

Lewis could only convert two field goals in 45 minutes of play and was limited to just six points. The bulky import, however, had 12 rebounds.

With Lewis failing to get his game going, TY Tang, Gabe Norwood, Ryan Araña, Jireh Ibañez and Jay-arr Reyes tried to carry the fight for the Painters and all scored in double figures.

San Miguel, meanwhile, banked on the efforts of import Gabe Freeman, who had 26 points, while Jonas Villanueva added 23.
