THE CELEBRATION for the Cebu Business Month continues today as the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry stages the 16th Business-In-Golf Tournament at the lush greens of the Cebu Country Club golf course in Banilad.
This annual event is open to golf enthusiasts of all ages from the various industry sectors. Registration fee per team is P6,000.
At stake is a brand new Hyundai Tucson SUV as the hole-in-one prize. Also being dangled for a hole in one at all the par 3 holes is a Sunriser Motorcycle 100 A. Prizes also await for the Golfer of the Year, Longest Drive, Nearest to the Pin, Best in Uniform and other awards.
The event is being organized to foster camaraderie and teamwork among businessmen from all over Cebu. Organizers, led by CCCI trustee Jose Soberano III, is also hoping that the tournament can boost morale, relieve stress and allow the participants to find business opportunities even on the greens. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
