TEAM NO Care Racing (NCR) is ready and raring to make their mark once again in the autocross scene as they compete in the 1st SM City Cebu Motorsports Weekend-Kartzone Autocross Series this Friday at the SM City Cebu Annex Parking Lot.

For the squad, which is headed by Alan Choachuy and Jong King, they expect nothing less than a dominating victory this weekend as they are coming off ain impressive showing at the 2nd leg of the Philippine Regional Autocross Series.

Jong King shone the brightest in that race as he stood tall amongst a host of big-name racers to etch his name in the record books with the fastest time in the competition.

“Autocross is a sport where aggressive drivers can show off their aggressive driving skills in a safe and controlled environment. Plus this group is the best venue to enhance out driving skills and our camaraderie,” said King in a press conference yesterday at the Vienna Kaffeehaus along Gorordo Avenue.

“This sport really requires car control, finesse, safety and river discipline and the more disciplined you get on the track, the more disciplined you will be on the road,” added King.

NCR is composed of Philip Lim, Robert Pangilinan, Eric Khe, Anthony Khe, Norris See, Eric Canama, Dennis Coro and Jhonel Wheels. They made waves in the previous competition, particularly King along with Lim, Pangilinan, See and Canama, who all captured titles in different categories.

The credo of the group is “no care sa speed, no care sa corners, no care sa cars, no care sa kontra, we only care for our team and winning it all.”

NCR is also expected to parade a Cherry QQ in different divisions of the competition. The categories are Street, Super Street, Modified Open, All Wheel and Special Classes.

They will be going up against the best drivers from the best teams in the region including David Lim of DGL Racing, Randy Paray of Auto Care Racing, Peterson Lim of Hilton Racing and Jess Garcia and Lord Seno of the Kartzone squad. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
