National rider Glenn Aguilar showed he still is a force to reckon with as he came up with an impressive showing in the first heat of the MS Motosuit-Night Supercross Challenge, which kicked off last Friday night in Consolacion town, northern Cebu.

Using his KTM bike, Aguilar, an image model of MS Motosuit Stores, emerged the overall leader in the prestigious expert open and pro-open categories.

Aguilar was trailed by John-john Adlawan in the expert division, while Davao's Rhowell Mangosong of Kawasali Team, came in second in the pro-open division.

Mangosong's younger brother Renato finished first in the mini class 65cc category.

Siegfred Ornopia was the leader in the executive class A followed by Jun Enriquez and Gener Sicad.

Other early leaders were Joseph Del (beginners open production), Ading Dimaporo of Team Mindanao (executive C).

The second heat was scheduled late afternoon yesterday.
