Mandaue City, Philippines - Thailand’s Terdsak Jandaeng took the WBO Oriental Jr. Lightweight belt on Sunday after beating Filipino Joel Dela Cruz via unanimous decision in the main event of the Daytime Boxing 2: Thai Invasion at the Mandaue Sports and Cultural Complex.

The 27-year-old Jandaeng pounded on Dela Cruz’ mid-section and knocked the 23-year-old Filipino down in the second and third rounds en route his 12-round unanimous decision triumph.

“I did not have a hard time with Dela Cruz because I was able to read his style of fighting,” Jandaeng said

Jandaeng, who improved to 31 wins against 3 losses with 21 KOs, fought Juan Manuel Marquez three years ago and his experience clearly showed in the fight.
