San Francisco, California — Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao has emphasized that Golden Boy Oscar De la Hoya will be the “bull's eye” in his career, as he likened their December 6 fight to a game of darts where he aims to hit the jackpot by beating De la Hoya in Las Vegas.

This as HBO announced here on Monday that a special 4-part series of the 24/7 program unwraps on Saturday where the lives of each fighter will be brought to living rooms to further deepen interest on the fight.

In his widely read column over Philboxing.com on Sunday, Pacquiao informed that he has been training extremely hard at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles, and that he has not left any stone unturned in making sure he will come out victorious over De la Hoya on fight night.

Then after a full day's training, Pacquiao said he would go back to his Palazzo residence, an upscale compound in Los Angeles, where he would then play darts with friends and hangers-on.

Pacquiao also announced that he would be bankrolling a P2 million darts tournament in December after his fight with De la Hoya, to be participated in by the best darters in the Philippines.

Meanwhile, Mexicans in the Bay Area have confirmed recent reports by Philboxing.com that indeed, they are supporting Pacquiao to beat De la Hoya in their battle.

Jun Laquindanum, a Filipino boxing supporter based in the Bay Area, has pointed out that most of his Mexican acquaintances have already started betting for Pacquiao, and added that "Mexican fans seem to be enamored with the Filipino icon."
