FILIPINO boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao will be in Cebu City today to attend the blessing of the Saint Michael Chapel which he (Manny) and close associate Rex ?Wakee? Salud donated to the bonafide homeowners of the Guadalupe Osmena Village Association headed by its incumbent President, Pablo Gusay.
Gusay is currently the Press Relations Officer of the Cebu Chamber of Customs Brokers organization.
Gusay cited Manny's, as well as Wakee's outright generosity that made possible the construction of the Village Chapel, said to be the single most beautiful chapel in Cebu City. He further said that the new chapel along with the ongoing improvement of the site including the riprapping will amount to more than a million pesos.
As an expression of gratitude, it is proposed that the newly improved open space be aptly named after its aforementioned heroes and donors. The new site will therefore be known as ?Pacman and Wakee Parkview.? PR
