COMPOSURE will be a crucial factor when the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws take on the University of the East (UE) Red Warriors today in the main game of the 71st UAAP men's basketball tournament at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
The FEU community is shaken after one of its players was involved in a shooting incident on Thursday night.
Mac Baracael was shot by an unidentified gunman while walking along a road near the FEU campus.
Baracael was with teammates Ron Cabagnot and Robert Kave during the incident. A .45 caliber was used in the shooting.
Baracael was shot twice at the back with one of the bullets piercing his lungs.
According to reports, Baracael is already in ?stable condition but is still under observation.?
The Tamaraws will try to put that incident behind as they look to move up in the standings.
FEU parades a 3-1 (win-loss) slate, good for third place. The Red Warriors, on the other hand, are at fourth spot with three wins and two losses.
In the first game, La Salle tries to firm up its hold of second place when it faces the struggling University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons. CORRESPONDENT CALVIN D. CORDOVA
