The Red Bull Barakos try to avoid their first back-to-back losses of the conference, while the Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings go for their own first back-to-back wins as the two squads play separate foes on Wednesday in the 33rd PBA Fiesta Cup at the Araneta Coliseum.
The Barakos take on the Sta. Lucia Realtors in the first game, while the Kings clash with the Air21 Express in the main game.
The Kings just bagged their breakthrough win after beating the Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants, 102-99, last Friday.
The win ended a five-game losing streak for the Kings, who got a solid performance from new import Chris Alexander.
Like Ginebra, Air21 and Sta. Lucia are also out to build their own win streak.
With a 4-2 (win-loss) record, Sta. Lucia could earn a share of the top spot if it beats Red Bull. /Correspondent Calvin D. Cordova
