CHOLENG Legaspi is sought after by businessmen, especially land developers.

One of them is Andrew Gotianun, vice president of Filinvest Land Inc., who doesn?t pursue developing a property without her go-signal.

Aside from her ability to forecast some business ventures, she said she could also foresee the fate of a person future or his past in detail. She said she also tell if the area has hidden treasures and water sources just from a map alone.

Legaspi, 80, said she discovered her gift when she was only 17.

?Somebody out of nowhere whispered to me that I should develop a talent so that I could help people,? she said in Tagalog.

She said at first, she could not understand the message. Later, she said she deciphered what it meant when she could see figures anywhere at anytime of the day.

She said she saw the future of her own family when she was younger. She has five children; three of them are living in Italy.

Legaspi said she doesn't care about the status of the person who asked for her help as long as she could extend any assistance.

Asked if she?s been asked to find buried treasure, she replied: ?Yes. Naku ang dami na.?

A client recently brought her a gold bar taken from a site she pinpointed as have buried treasure, she said.

?Hindi man lang namigay,? she said in jest. In exchange, the client just fixed her dog house.

Well-to-do clients offered have given her cars aside from cash, she said. She said she gave these to charity.

?We don't really ask for money. This is my way of helping people,? she said.

Legaspi said she doesn't limit herself to rich clients. She said she had helped those in the provinces.

?We don't mind the money as long as she don't get hungry. There are some who just give us basket of vegetables and crops,? said her daughter Precy Cunanan.

During her stay in Cebu, Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña has offered them a room at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino in barangay Lahug.

Legaspi said she was scheduled to go to the United States to look at the property that Filinvest was interested in./
