OUT of 15 Provincial Board (PB) members, only Juan Bolo submitted a recommendation to the draft report on their investigation into the Capitol's controversial P98.9-million Balili property purchase.
Board member Joven Mondigo Jr., chairman of the adhoc committee investigating the controversy said he wants to complete the report by asking the consensus of every board member on the case.
As agreed during the previous sessions, Mondigo said that each board member was to submit their own recommendation based on the provided facts and transcripts of the investigation.
The Balili property purchase implicated several Capitol officials and some board members like Bolo.
Bolo was reported to have facilitated the purchase of the property where portions were later found to be underwater as well as mangrove sites.
The same controversy also resulted to Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia's public apology for the mess up.
She earned criticism especially from eco lawyers for the purchase which she approved through Resolution 187-2008 last January 14, 2008.
Mondigo would not deal into details of Bolo's recommendations but said it tackled more on the survey of the lots.
?They (board members) don't need to wait for my summary of facts to come up with their own recommendations,? said Mondigo.
He told reporters that he will submit the draft during a caucus yesterday morning.
Opposition Vice Governor Gregorio Sanchez Jr. earlier urged the board to submit the report within 10 days.
