A P25 million lump sum is being considered for allocation to Cebu City's barangays to fund their projects.
But Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña said he would prefer that the barangay officials give him a list of their intended projects so he could determine how much they would receive.
Eugenio Faelnar, Association of Barangay Council (ABC) president, earlier suggested that funding assistance be given directly to the barangays so the projects could be immediately implemented.
Vice Mayor Michael Rama supported the prposal. /Reporter Marian Z. Codilla
