IF THE PROPOSED ordinance of Provincial Board member Juan Bolo will be passed by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the province will celebrate every March 26 as its Liberation Day.
Bolo, who represents the first district of Cebu in the Provincial Board, said that the invasion of Talisay by the United States Armed Forces on March 26, 1945 marked Cebu's liberation from Japanese invaders.
As of today, only Talisay City celebrates the event. Reporter Nilda Gallo
