A motorcycle carrying four men swerved off the road in the South Road Property (SRP) in Talisay City, killing two of the backriders.
All four men were on their way home from barangay Tanke, Talisay City after a drinking session with friends.
Edmund Bucao, 23, was driving the Honda 125 around 4 a.m. yesterday.
Bucao's backriders were Calvin Gabiana, 25, Ken-Ken Reponte, 21, and Roldan Repolido, 21. The four men reside in Colon, Naga City.
Reponte died on the spot. Replido, who was taken to the hospital with his companions, died on the way.
Bucao, the driver, was taken to the Talisay City jail after he was treated for minor injuries.
Bucao told police that his backriders were the ones who were drunk and caused him to lose control of the vehicle.
