FIFTEEN persons were arrested in a saturation drive in barangay Kamagayan, Cebu City early morning yesterday.
Police said the arrested persons were caught using Nubain, an injectable painkiller.
An ampule of Nubain and syringes were recovered during the raid, said Chief Insp. George Ylanan, chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detective Management Branch.
Misuse of Nubain is a violation of a Cebu City ordinance penalized by fines.
It was the second time in two weeks that a saturation drive was conducted in Kamagayan, known as a ?red light district? in Cebu City because of prostitution.
Illegal gambling machines such as video carrera and moli-moli machines were seized dring the earlier raid.
Ylanan said saturation drives in the barangay would continue until the place is cleared of illegal activities.
