A JEEPNEY driver was found hanging dead in his room in sitio Calubihan, barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu on Thursday afternoon.

The body of Kelvin Orenday, 28, was found at around 2 p.m. by his mother, Rolina.

Rolina told police that her son was a drug dependent, who wanted to undergo rehabilitation.

Rolina said they couldn't grant her son?s request because they didn't have the money to send him to the drug rehabilitation center./CORRESPONDENT CHRIS A. LIGAN
