A policeman has been placed under administrative investigation after he was arrested for allegedly selling unlicensed firearms.
PO2 Jose Reden Rios Hortelano could be dismissed from service if proven guilty of the charges, said Chief Supt. Lani-O Nerez, police director for Central Visayas.
Hortellano, who was assigned in Tabogon town, denied that he was involved in gunrunning.
Nerez said investigators would also try to identify the buyers as the guns could be used in the next year's election.
