OPERATIVES of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7) confiscated fake soap bars worth about P48,000 in separate raids on downtown stores in Cebu City on Tuesday afternoon.

The raid was made after Unilever Philippines complained to the CIDG-Camp Crame that there were stores in Cebu City selling fake soaps using its brand.

Seized during the raid were Dove 4 and Dove 5 soap compact powder and moisturizing powder and Dove mascara.

A search warrant was issued by Judge Eduardo Peralta Jr., vice executive judge of Manila.

Police raided PJ Star Enterprises, Ongsitco Enteprises, KYT Fashion Fashion Accessories, SY Marketing and Ozon shop.
