Yaun's companion Eldie Alboro Briones was also arrested.

The two were detained at the Consolacion police station.

Operatives of the Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) led by Insp. Rogelio Amoroso went to Consolacion town in northern Cebu about 11 a.m. to respond to a report about an armed man on board a silver gray Ford Explorer with plate number FJR-808.

Police spotted the vehicle traveling toward Mandaue City.

Police tailed the vehicle until it parked along a road in barangay Ibabao for several minutes.

Then a passenger, who was later identified as Briones, opened the door.

Amoroso said it was then that they saw Yaun sniffing shabu and immediately moved in to arrest the two men.

Police frisked Yaun and found a pack of suspected shabu.

Police also found a .45 caliber pistol, a .38 revolver loaded with six bullets, three bullets of a .45 caliber pistol, three pieces of aluminum foil and a disposable lighter inside the vehicle.

Police said they would conduct a follow-up investigation to determine who owns the guns or if they were licensed or not.

Police said they suspected Yaun was high on drugs during his arrest and refused to cooperate in the investigation.
