AFTER six months of being away, 81 members of the Regional Mobile Group in Central Visayas (RMG-7) sent to Mindanao as an augmentation force were finally reunited with their families.
The 81 policemen headed by Supt. Glen Cinco arrived at Pier 2, Cebu City at about 4 p.m.
The 81 policemen faced their families after they were given arrival honors where they received Medalya Ng Kagalingan at Kadakilaan
Chief Supt. Lani-O Nerez, director of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7), said the 81 policemen are considered heroes.
?We have produced heroes not only at PRO-7 but in the whole Visayas,? said Nerez during a program at the headquarters of PRO-7 along Osmeña Boulevard, Cebu City.
The 81 policemen left for Jolo, Sulu last April 10 to assist the military in pursuing the Abu Sayyaf bandits.
