A WOMAN was stabbed dead allegedly by her nephew outside her house in barangay upper Lanao, Moalboal town, southwest Cebu.
Nona Lariz was talking with her sister about 3 p.m. on Wednesday when Eric Saac, 31, appeared from behind.
Without warning, Saac stabbed Lariz in the body, said SPO1 Bartomiano Gargar.
The victim was already dead when police arrived.
Saac was arrested at home, about four hours after the incident.
A charge of murder was filed against the suspect yesterday at the Cebu Provincial Prosecutor?s Office.
Police said they learned that the suspect had been suffering from mental disorder and was involved in a hacking incident in the past.
