TWO men were arrested on suspicion of selling shabu and possession of the injectable painkiller Nubain in Cebu City on Tuesday night.
Cesar Sangon Reynes, 26, was arrested by Waterfront police in a buy-bust operation in barangay Tejero.
Reynes, 26, was arrested after handing a pack believed to contain shabu to a police asset.
In Manalili Street, Daniel Atuel Valliente of barangay Talamban was arrested for possession of Nubain, a regulated painkiller.
Agents of the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Bureau of the Cebu City Police Office received reports that Valliente has been dealing Nubain in the downtown aera.
After receiving a tip that the suspect was scheduled to complete another transaction on Tuesday night, police followed it up.
An arresting team led by SPO3 Roel Hortelan immediately arrested Valiente on the street.
Police said they recovered 300 ampules of Nubain from the suspect./Correspondent Chito Aragon
