MANDAUE CITY, Philippines – Members of the Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) responsible for the immediate arrest of the woman who sent fake bomb threat letters to two Cebu judges were awarded on Monday.
Chief Superintendent Ronald Roderos, police regional director in Central Visayas,pinned the Medalya ng Papuri on 18 policemen headed by Superintendent Vicente Mersan Premne, acting MCPO director, for demonstrating exemplary devotion and dedication to duty.
Premne and his men conducted a thorough and prompt operation that resulted in the immediate solution of the letter threats sent to Judge Teresita Galanida of the Mandaue Regional Trial Court and Judge Soliver Peras of the Cebu Regional Trial Court. /Correspondent Chito O. Aragon
