Cebu City, Philippines - A policeman accused of gun-toting remained in hot water despite the refusal of his alleged victim to file charges.
Police Officer 1 Samuel Alvares of the Special Reaction Unit of the Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO), could be held administratively liable after he allegedly pointed a gun at a 17-year-old teenager at the Freedom Park, Barangay (village) Ermita, Cebu City, on Sunday afternoon.
The teenager did not press charges but Senior Superintendent Patrocinio Comendador Jr. chief of Cebu City Police Office, said he would order an administrative investigation on Alvares.
Alvares was allegedly drunk during the incident.
Senior Superintendent Carmelo Valmoria, chief of CPPO, said it would be up to Comendador to file administrative charges against Alvares. /Correspondent Chito O. Aragon
