Woman robbed in Lapu

Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines – A woman lost cash and valuable items when she was allegedly held up by two men riding a motorcycle in Barangay (village) Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, past midnight Saturday.

Ananette Cavasas, 40, a resident of Barangay Marigondon, was on board a tricycle when she was held up.

Taken were three cell phones worth P16,800 and P15,000 cash.

Cavasas told the police that a motorcycle with two men on board blocked the tricycle she was riding.

The victim said the two men then disembarked from the motorcycle and pointed a gun at her.

The two men demanded for Cavasas' bag before fleeing.

The victim reported the incident to the police.
