A man was arrested by police after four small packs of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia and P80,000 was found inside his house in a raid on Tuesday afternoon in Lapu-Lapu City.
Jovanie Toring of Purol Timpolok in barangay Babag was arrested by a team of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7) led by Senior Insp. Richard Caballero.
Police described Toring as a level two drug pusher, who can dispose of not less than 200 grams of shabu in a week.
The CIDG-7 conducted the raid after receiving reports of Toring?s alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade from residents in barangay Babag.
The police had a search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Ulric Cañete.
Toring did not resist arrest nor did he make any comment about it.
Charges of possession of illegal drugs is set to be filed against Toring today.
