A LUZON-BASED logistics company set up shop in Cebu aiming to have more access to the Visayas and Mindanao's cargo and forwarding industry market.
?It is high time for us to solidify our presence within the region as Cebu is a regional gateway, having international air and sea ports. This will open the doors for us for the rest of the Visayas and Mindanao,? said Paulo Tibig, Vintel Logistics president in an interview during the branch's opening on August 14.
Vcargo Worldwide, the cargo and forwarding brand of Vintel Logistics Inc., has opened a regional branch in Cebu in barangay Casuntingan, Mandaue City.
Vcargo has been in the business for 10 years and handled corporate account clients , which included the food, manufacturing, electronics, pharmaceuticals, promotions and advertising industries.
For the first time, Vcargo is accepting walk-in clients.
?For a long time we have serviced corporate accounts so with this regional gateway we are opening our doors to the retail business concept, where we accept walk-ins, which will be an added revenue acceleration (for the company),? said Cherifer Santos, marketing Officer of Vcargo.
Vcargo has its roots in the marketing services industry. It evolved into an expanding service focused on providing customers with quality service, promising guaranteed shipping, delivery and distribution to all kinds of shipments.
One of the markets Vcargo is focusing on is promotions management of consumer companies.
This involves helping advertising and marketing executives achieve their objectives by providing a variety of logistical support services.
These services include point of sales materials distribution, installation and audit disposal, drop-box management, events logistics/thematic set-up, drop box management and bundling services support/toll packing.
The company ensures delivery of marketing materials, premiums and other collaterals for project deployment.
