Rotary Club of Cebu Port donates

The Rotary Club of Cebu Port Center initiated the solicitation of several pediatric equipment and turned them over to the Pediatric Department of the Vicente Sotto Medical Center (VSMMC) on November 7.

The list of donated equipment amounting to $37,100 consists of eight units of Sechrist V1100B, infant/pediatric ventilator worth $7,750, 10 units of Sechrist IV100B, disposable patient circuits at $300, one unit of Siemens 900C, adult/infant ventilator at $3,250, two units of Siemens 900C, reusable patient circuits at $200; five units of Nellcor N-200, pulse oximeter at $2,250, two units of GE Marquette Eagle 3000, ECG Resp., NIBP, Spo2, Temp complete with built in flat screen monitor at $3,000, three units of Ohmeda 3000, infant warmers/basinette at $7,200; one demo unit of GE Marquette Mac1200 with 12SL interpretation and new accessories at $1,950, three units of Gomco 300, portable suction pump at $1,950, two units of Baxter AS-40, digital syringe pump at $1,700 and three units of air shields C-100, incubator at $4,350.

The equipment was donated by the Rotary Club of Poipo Beach of Hawaii, USA.

Present during the turnover were President Tim Alampay, past presidents Joel Valer, Tony Ynoc, Ely Celestino, Boy Unabia and Al Alcibar, Rtn. Kash Mahtani, Dr. Roque Paradela and Dr. Najaro, VSMMC pediatric consultant.
