MORE than 900 residents of Cebu City availed of the free medical and dental mission of SM Foundation Inc. on March 3 and 4 at the old v-hire terminal of SM City Cebu.
Doctors, dentists and nurses from the Cebu City Health Department, Cebu City Medical Center and Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, assisted by the volunteers from the Kapwa Ko Mahal Ko Foundation Inc. and Philippine National Red Cross - Cebu City chapter, rendered free medical and dental services.
Hundreds of patients have been diagnosed and treated on the first day of the mission, which opened at 8 a.m.
The mission catered to some 500 senior citizens of Cebu City on the second day.
The outreach program also included the distribution of free medicines and blood pressure monitoring.
