OVER 300 students from the different schools and members of the Dumaguete City community registered with ABS-CBN?s Boto Mo, iPatrol Mo (BMPM) in a follow-through activity held Oct. 25 on the Silliman Hall grounds.
The activity encouraged the public to be a BMPM patroller and be subscribed to the system through text.
After membership is activated, a patroller will receive updates and send feedback to ABS-CBN regarding electoral anomalies and other election-related concerns in their area.
Maria Ressa, head of ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs, described the idea behind BMPM as ?simple?.
?If you see something wrong or something good, tell us about it. If you see someone trying to buy the votes, snap a picture on your cellphone and send it to us,? Ressa said.
Silliman University hosted the BMPM launching event for the province of Negros Oriental in August.
Around 600 Silliman students, faculty and staff registered as BMPM patrollers during the event.
