THE Negros Oriental Provincial Cooperative Development Council (PCDC) is set to launch and sign a memorandum of agreement (MOA) on June 18 at the Negros Oriental Convention Center in Dumaguete City for the hosting of the 2nd Philippine Cooperative Teamshop.
PCDC chair Dr. Profetiza Lim said teamshop is expected to gather around 4,000 cooperative leaders nationwide in October, next year.
She said the teamshop is an opportunity to establish linkages between and among cooperatives for mutually enriching entrepreneurial initiatives.
Cooperative and Development Authority (CDA) Provincial Coop Development Specialitst Nora Patron also said the convention of coops is an avenue to convene cooperative leaders, practitioners and advocates all over the country to exchange best practices in managing business enterprises.
Negros Oriental Gov. Emilio Macias II, together with CDA chair Lecira Juarez, National Cooperative and Development Council and PCDC officials will unveil and sign the MOA during the launching on June 18.
