THE Department of Science and Technology in Central Visayas (DOST-7) and its training arm, the Confederation of Scientific and Professional Organizations (Cospo), will hold a hands-on training on meat and fish processing on Dec. 3-5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the DECS Applied Nutrition Center in Banilad, Cebu City.
The training includes the making of processed meat products like bacon, corned beef, meat loaf, chorizo, longganisa and fish products like bangus in corn oil, Spanish sardines and fish fingers and others.
The course fee is P4,500 for non-government employees and P3,600 for government employees.
The registration fee covers the cost of lunch and snacks, training materials, handout and certificate.
