THOUSANDS of delegates from the Visayas will converge in Cebu starting tomorrow for a three-day 7th Visayas State Convention of the Knights of Columbus (K of C), Visayas Jurisdiction at Cebu Grand Convention Center.
US-based supreme director Alberto Solis Sr. and Philippine affairs director Eduardo Laczi will grace the event.
Activities to be conducted include the following: May 16 — Color Corp contest in the morning and Holy Mass at the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral and renewal of marriage vows at 3 p.m., followed by “Sagala” at the Archbishop’s Palace grounds and a “Barrio Fiesta” dinner; May 17 — Holy Mass at 8:30 a.m., State of the Visayas report by Visayas State Deputy Dionisio Esteban at 10 a.m., followed by the giving of Best District Deputy award to Deputy Alberto Solis Jr. of Visayas – 01 and state dinner and “KCinging” competition at 7 p.m.; May 18 — Memorial Mass at 8:30 a.m. to be followed by the reading of board resolutions, awarding and closing ceremony.
