Missing Australian divers, Filipino guide rescued off Masbate

The three divers who were reported missing in the waters off Sorsogon province on Sunday evening were rescued Monday morning in Monreal town in Masbate, the chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP)in the island-province said.

US drone fished out of Masbate waters

A 4-meter-long, US-made unmanned aerial vehicle—or “drone”—has been recovered by fishermen in the waters off San Jacinto town on Ticao Island in Masbate, the police chief in the island-province said on Monday.

They go in groups, packing comfort foods such as chicken adobo and grilled tilapia, and share stories to ease the loneliness.
