If you are interested in working with the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) Outreach on consumer education and empowerment issues or events in your community, please contact Michael Lafferty, Outreach Manager of California Department of Consumer Affairs at (916) 574-7409.

DCA educates California consumers by giving them the information they need to avoid unscrupulous or unqualified people who promote deceptive products or services. With more than 40 boards and bureaus, regulating over 250 professions, the call center alone takes almost one million phone calls annually staffed by Tagalog (and more than 175 languages) speaking advisors.
