To date Munoz has 4 wins and 0 losses going into his 5th fight on Dec. 3rd with black belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Ricardo Barros. Munoz knows that to be successful in the cage he will have to train hard with the best trainers and fighters in MuayThai, Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, and boxing to prepare for his debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (The UFC)—the ultimate mixed martial arts sports entertainment venue. For boxing, Munoz confirmed he will begin training at Wild Card Gym in southern California, the same gym, where 5 time boxing champion Manny Pacquiao trains with Freddie Roach—who has produced 22 world boxing champions. Currently, Muñoz hones in on technique with Ryron Gracie and Rener Gracie of the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Dynasty for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. When in Sacramento, Munoz trains with WEC's former Featherweight Champion Uriah Faber at Ultimate Fitness. A native of Vallejo, Munoz will return to his childhood hometown and meet and greet his fans at Pasko Expo—the first annual Filipino Christmas Festival in Vallejo. One thousand free photos will be available and ready to sign for fans. Munoz’s fight theme song will be debuted for the first time and fans will be able to take photos with up and coming Filipino MMA fighter Mark Munoz in the artist’s booth.
