SAN PEDRO, Laguna—The husband and two daughters of Filipino doctor Rizalina Camia-Bunyi, who was killed in the Tiananmen Square “terrorist attack,” are expected to fly back home this weekend, a family member said.

Rodrigo Camia, 84, father of Rizalina, said his son-in-law and grandchildren would be arriving either Saturday or Sunday.

He said they had initially planned to bring home his daughter’s remains on Friday but it was postponed to sometime next week.

Camia talked to his daughter-in-law, who was in Beijing with Rizalina’s younger brother, Rodrigo Jr., before he was interviewed by phone.

Camia said Rizalina’s husband, pediatrician Nelson Bunyi, told his family that he wanted his operation for a leg fracture done in the Philippines. The couple’s daughters, Francisca Ysabel, 23, and Mikaella, 21, sustained less serious injuries than their parents.

Rizalina, 55, was killed when a car plowed through a crowd at the Tiananmen Square, a historic tourist site in Beijing. The family went to China last Sunday for a vacation.
